Things and technology.

day 9

Well, I've been telling you a lot of stuff lately and I'd like to take this post to talk about you. I know that there are probably just a couple of people reading this blog regularly and based on your feedback I think I know who those people are. As anybody working in CRM (customer relationship management -yep, sounds bad, but it's my job) knows you have to give your most valuable customer special treatment to make sure they come back. First of all I'd like to give you a like to some of the best non-professional photos I've seen lately and even though I know it's only because he's got a very good camera, I still think it's worth mentioning. Alvise is a friend of mine since I was 3 and is now in Cameroon. He's publishing his pictures on this site http://www.flickr.com/photos/alvi/ and it's worth having a look at it. Again, I don't think the merit is his, but maybe we'll convince him to buy an even more expensive camera so he can take even better pictures.
Rob is the only one actually publishing comments and just for that it's worth mentioning this lovely/geeky/charming character I will really miss (yep, you guessed it, he's in london and I'm not anymore). I already mentioned the excellent work he's doing with wi-fi technology and not-for-profit approach. But check it yourself on www.comwifinet.com
Now that I've covered the majority of the reader community (and I hope those of you who feel like I forgot about them will react by posting a comment -I said posting a comment, not crying, Alexandra!).
News from Barcelona then. Well, for those of you who know Spain a little bit, you know that every village or town in Spain has a week worth of fiestas where the town goes crazy and the party goes on for a week. Every town has then got its own speciality like the bull run in Pamplona, for instance. This tradition has been lost in big towns like Barcelona, except from the district of Gracia, where every year they celebrate a week of parties, concerts, workshops and much much more. And guess what? It started 2 days ago! So we've been going with Teresa and we just love the feeling. Everybody is happy (possibly a bit tipsy) and hangs around the many squares of the district. To have an idea check out this link http://www.festamajordegracia.org/ and if you feel like you may want to give it a go, well, you know you've got friends in Barcelona where to stay!
It's nearly 4, time for lunch! see you soon.
